The prime minister stressed that this was the first visit in 25 years by an Indonesian foreign minister and expressed confidence that this visit would give further impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
According to Prime Minister Borissov, there are a number of areas with potential for more active cooperation, such as trade and investment, tourism and infrastructure. Education and high technology were also of mutual interest to both countries.
The prime minister expressed hope that after yesterday's fruitful meeting of Minister Marsudi with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, today's Bulgarian-Indonesian business forum with the participation of Minister Emil Karanikolov will give an additional momentum to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
