"We have been friends with Johanna for many years, she has been on our borders. Bulgaria is a country that has zero migration due to all measures taken, complying with all European rules,” Borissov said. "We have many ideas that we have discussed now regarding the future of the Western Balkans and the region," the prime minister added.
During the meeting, Borissov noted that a good partnership with Lower Austria is an example of promoting closer regional cooperation between cities, municipalities and companies. In his words, there are real opportunities for deepening the trade and economic partnership. "There are many Austrian investors in Bulgaria, great commodity turnover," the prime minister said.
