The Parliament has adopted the 2018 report on the national security of the Republic of Bulgaria, Focus News Agency
reported. Ninety-seven MPs voted in favour, forty-seven against and ten abstained. The document has to be adopted by a decision of the National Assembly, according to the provisions of the law on State Agency for National Security. The law stipulates that by 31 March the president of the agency submits to the Council of Ministers an annual report on the activities of the agency, and the cabinet, for its part, submits it to the National Assembly. The report concerns the first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, migration issues, the fight against terrorism, corruption, and smuggling and crime.
