I do not feel boycotted by the BSP’s national council – not for the first time and, I hope, not for the last time we have arguments and debates in our party. This is what BSP leader Kornelia Ninova said to reporters about the list for the European election approved Sunday by the party’s national council, Focus News Agency
reports. The debates were long enough to prove that the BSP is a democratic party, she stated. “We had differences. We had 11 hours of talks. We closed the list and the dispute is over, we go united to be the leading political force,” Ninova said. She replied that she had repeatedly commented on the presence of PES President Sergei Stanishev on the list. “Today we go with this list,” the BSP leader said.
Today the party registered its list for the European election with the Central Election Commission. Elena Yoncheva is the leading candidate. The list includes Petar Vitanov, Tsvetelina Penkova, Ivo Hristov, Sergei Stanishev, Ivan Krastev and Denitsa Zlateva, among others.
