"Last year, with the adoption of the Disability Act, we agreed that in six months we would make an analysis. Now having analysed the information for the period 3 August - December 18 2018, we have a pretty alarming picture: after the changes in the methodology, 66.3% of persons over 16 retained the degree of disability they had before the re-assessment; 14.5% have moved to a higher degree of disability; 19.2% have been assessed as having a lower degree of disability,” said Dolapchiev, adding that of minors aged 16 or under, 16% have lost their rights. “Minister Kiril Ananiev has confirmed his participation in the debate on reconsidering the Ordinance on the Expert Medical Assessment,” he said.
