Our efforts are to overcome the three biggest problems for the European citizens, who need more stability, security and solidarity, the Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018, Lilyana Pavlova, said during the first joint conference of the series “Europe that protects”, FOCUS News Agency
reports. “We held a series of debates and discussions when the government was setting the priorities of the Bulgarian presidency, which has already started. Thanks to those debates, thanks to more than 200 meetings with civil society and various organisations, we identified four priorities on which the Bulgarian presidency will focus,” Minister Pavlova said, and enumerated them: the future of young people in Europe, the Western Balkans and connectivity in the region, secure and stable Europe, and digital skills.
