PM Boyko Borisov: Bulgaria and Azerbaijan are countries with close culture, direct air link will stimulate tourism

Baku. Bulgaria and Azerbaijan have been working for several years on the direct air link Baku-Sofia, officially launched today, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said at the event during the official visit of the Bulgarian delegation to the Azeri capital, FOCUS News Agency reported. He said that Bulgaria and Azerbaijan have an ambitious programme in economy and that the ticket costs EUR 29 one way. “These are two countries with a very close culture. Azerbaijan is a very ancient country with ancient traditions and with these flights we will have a great exchange of tourists,” he added.
