The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will send to the Prosecutor’s Office documents about public procurements for over BGN 50 million won by companies linked to MP Delyan Dobrev from Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB/GERB), BSP's parliament spokesperson, Elena Yoncheva, said at a briefing, quoted by FOCUS News Agency
. The case allegedly involves a group of commercial companies interrelated through shareholders and managers. “Delyan Dobrev’s brother-in-law participates in them. He replaced Delyan Dobrev in a company after Dobrev entered politics,” Yoncheva said. She added that the companies were draining huge municipal funds.
Delyan Dobrev later rejected the allegations, saying he is not a related party or a contracting authority.
