Sofia: Three hospitalised in MMA after Mikre crash to be operated

Sofia. The 66-year-old woman who was worst injured in the bus crash near Lovech’s Mikre village on Friday is in a severe, stabilised but still life-threatening condition. This was announced by the Military Medical Academy (MMA), where the woman is treated. The other two patients – a man and a woman – injured in the Friday crash are in a stable condition. All three will be operated.

Pernik mourns Mikre crash victims

Pernik. The Mayor of Pernik, Vyara Tserovska, declared a day of mourning for the municipality today in memory of those who died in the severe crash near Lovech’s Mikre village, the Municipality said. Nine people from Pernik died in the crash between a bus and a truck in the area of Mikre on Friday. 19 people were injured. The mayor expressed her deep condolences to the relatives of the victims. A service was held at Pernik's St. Ivan Rilski church this morning.
