Sofia. It is not Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov and the government that pose a threat to Bulgaria’s development but the Movement for Rights and Freedoms’ (MRF) return to power, MP Iskren Veselinov (United Patriots) said at a briefing in the National Assembly, FOCUS News Agency reports.
The briefing was called in response to a statement made by Mustafa Karadaya (MRF), who said that the Deputy Prime Minister and the government had to resign and that was part of democracy. "During the 30 years of its official existence the MRF has become a symbol of corruption in Bulgaria. The party has turned into a metaphor of nepotism and political influence,” Vesselinov said adding that it is the MRF that controls the media market. “This is another act of political hypocrisy,” he commented.
