Prof. Vladimir Chukov: Attack in London last night may be reaction to London Bridge attack

Sofia. The attack in London this night could be a reaction to the attack on London Bridge, Prof. Vladimir Chukov told FOCUS Radio’s Good Morning Bulgaria.
According to him, what happened last night in London is part of the wave of violence in the UK, but in the opposite direction. There are many similarities with what happened two weeks ago, such as a hired van, three attackers, the driver had a knife, he commented. However, he stressed on reports that the attacker was white and smooth-shaven, unlike the attackers two weeks ago. In his opinion, this is a reaction by certain circles in the British society that disagree with the recent attacks.
The detention of the attacker indicates that the attack was not well prepared, he added.
